Mother Rising: Postnatal Series

A 6-week immersion for postpartum Mothers to land, root and grow — together.

In the tender season after birth, we gather in warmth and kinship—holding space for your body, your spirit, and your unfolding story—so you don’t have to walk this wild, beautiful path alone. Through the wisdom of the elements, gentle movement, creative reflection and heartfelt connection, we honor the tender threshold of new Motherhood and support the re-emergence of your whole self.

Sessions alternate weekly between ‘mother’s only’ and ‘baby and me’ formats. See below for details.

Our founding group initiates Spring 2026. For first-time and seasoned Mothers, anytime within their first year postpartum.

Elements of the Experience

Our sessions include:

  • Weekly email with recommended preparatory work and introduction to each theme. Weekly themes explore the vastness of the experience of Motherhood and orient with Earth’s elements.

  • Postnatal yoga and movement practices that build embodied awareness on how to support the constant changes occurring within the physical body (emphasis on pelvic floor, re-engaging with the core muscles and stability.)

  • Tools for regulating the nervous system

  • A compassionate community of mothers who “get it”

  • Creative practices that help you integrate your evolving identity

Our final week will culminate in a celebration and potluck with our families to connect in beautiful new ways and strengthen the community we have cultivated.

Tending the Circle: Seasonal Gatherings

We warmly invite all Mothers who have participated in a series to return and join us for seasonal gatherings. These special meet-ups offer a chance to reconnect, celebrate growth, share wisdom and insights and deepen the supportive community we’ve built together. Rooted in the rhythms of the Earth and cycles of Motherhood, these gatherings nourish ongoing connection, reflection and renewal — helping us stay grounded and inspired through all seasons of Mothering.

Why This Matters.

Motherhood transforms everything: body, mind, heart and spirit. In a culture that often rushes this tender season, it’s rare to have a space that fully sees and supports you.

In this circle, we land just as we are.  We hold space to reconnect with our bodies inner-wisdom, regulate through practices that sooth and strengthen our nervous system, liberate ourselves to show up authentically within a compassionate circle of others that share a similar path as ours,  so we may rise to meet the journey  rooted and resilient.

Intentions.

This is more than a 6-week class — it’s a foundation for how you mother, connect and care for yourself in the years ahead.

Through this experience, the aspiration is for mothers to carry forward:

  • A deeper trust in their own wisdom: The ability to listen inwardly and respond to the needs of both self and child with clarity and compassion

  • Embodied self-care practices: Breathwork, movement, and rituals that become life-long tools for regulating the nervous system and replenishing energy.

  • A healthy relationship with identity: Moving from '“losing who I was” to integrating the fullness of self with the new or expanded role of Mother.

  • An expanded support network: Friendships and connections that extend far beyond our circle, becoming a part of each family’s village.

  • A sense of belonging in the wider web of life: Recognizing that Motherhood is both personal and collective, rooted in rhythms as old as Earth herself.

Through this experience,

Spiral of the Experience

The series will flow from “root to canopy” — starting small and intimate (reflecting upon self, body, immediate needs), then expanding out into connection with others, community and the wider world.

Each week, we explore a theme oriented around the constellations of one’s Motherhood journey and associated with elements within the natural world — Grounding into Self and Body (Earth), Flow and Bond with Baby (Water), Reclaiming Vitality and Passion (Fire), Communication and Connection (Air), and Identity, Intuition and Vision (Ether/Space) and Motherhood in the Web of Life (All Elements).

Weeks 1, 3 and 6 are 2-hour sessions and for Mama-only. On weeks 2 and 4, we bring our babies for 1-hour sessions.

While components within our gatherings will vary, each will align thematically and will incorporate movement, creative expression, and group-share practices.
