Motherhood Blessings

A Mother Blessing is a meaningful and soulful gathering that offers an alternative to the typical baby shower. Rooted in connection and reverence, this intimate gathering is designed to honor the Mother-To-Be: her inner journey, her strength, and the profound transformation she is undergoing.

We focus our love and attention on nurturing the woman at the heart of it all, as she prepares to step into the sacred threshold of birth and motherhood, and offer affirmation of the commitment to continue threads of support postpartum. For the seasoned mama preparing to birth again, this circle offers something special — a place to root into ritual, receive love, and gather strength from her community as she approaches birth once more.

Ceremony Elements

Each Motherhood Blessing is custom-designed, but elements often include:

  • Set-Up: Creating a cozy welcoming space, sacred circle and central altar, flowers and adornments for Mother-to-be and guests.

  • Welcoming Ritual, Rosewater Cleansing and Grounding meditation

  • Receiving: Foot soak, Blessings and Beads, Weaving thread of community

  • Threshold Crossing: From Maiden to Mother

  • Gift-giving: Mother to guests

  • Celebration, Song and Potluck

    • A meeting or call with the expectant mother ahead of the gathering to attune the ceremony to her unique story, vision and journey.

    • A soulfully held ceremony, approximately 60 minutes in length with space afterward for reflection, mingling, and connection

    • A thoughtfully prepared space featuring fresh blooms, soft cushions and blankets, natural elements (stones and candles), ceremonial elements (rosewater, yarn, beads), and Koshi chimes.

    • A gift for each attendee as a symbol of shared support and light.

    • Flexibility to host the gathering in a studio space or a location that feels most meaningful to you.

  • Investment: $250

    Add-ons available:

    • 60-minute pre-gathering Reiki or Yoga session for Mother: +$75

    • Flower crown adornment set-up (add 20 minutes for guests to design): +$75

    • Light refreshments and special decor (ex - extra flowers): +$100-200

    • Studio Space Rental: +$25/hr
